FORMER GUIDELINES TO SUBMIT ART OR ARTICLE:

[IMPORTANT: Please note that there is no guarantee that we will publish anything sent to us. We will review it and let you know either way. Thank you.]

ARTWORK/PHOTO SUBMISSIONS – We are always open to receive photos or artwork to consider for publication in the Sustainable Santa Fe Guide. If you have something you think would be a good match, please email a high-resolution image to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it along with your bio and (if you have one) website address.

ARTICLES – We are open to receiving articles to be considered for publication in the Guide. If you have something already written that hasn’t been published, please send it our way. If you are going to write something specifically for the Sustainable Santa Fe Guide, please contact us first so we can let you know if it is something we can possibly use.

General Guidelines for an Article

1) Positive and uplifting – We don’t publish things that complain about the state of our world or our community. There are serious problems and negative things going on. We know. There is enough bad news out there. The Sustainable Santa Fe Guide is about appreciating the beauty and positive endeavors that are guiding a clear path forward.

2) Practical – Base your article in reality. It is fine to dream and vision, but we want to provide the majority of space in the Guide for tangible things that are happening in our community or could happen in the near future.

3) Santa Fe – Your article should have some relationship to the Santa Fe region or at least be applicable to the people who live here. It is fine to talk about a global movement or things happening elsewhere; just ground it in how it applies to people in Santa Fe or Northern New Mexico.

4) Interesting – We want articles that are intriguing to read. You know…the kind that you can’t put down. Put your heart into it. Include some humility, humor and love.

5) No Me Me Me – Don’t toot your horn too much. It’s fine to mention yourself and your personal experience, but try to get out of yourself and connect to the broader movement that is happening.

6) Poetry/Fables/Creative Text – All encouraged
